The conference combines two major domestic cable structure projects: Shijiazhuang International Convention and Exhibition Center and Hongyagu Glass Suspension Bridge, and invites well-known experts to conduct extensive and in-depth exchanges on the latest achievements in scientific research, design, production, construction and monitoring in the field of cable structural engineering. . Project visit
Project 1: The Red Cliff Valley Glass Suspension Bridge is located in Hongya Mountain, Wentang Town, Pingshan County, Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province. The bridge is between the two beautiful peaks, with a total length of 488 meters (currently ranked first in the world among similar bridges), width 4 The width of the rice and pedestrian zone is 2 meters. The bridge adopts a suspension cable structure. The bridge decks are all made of aerospace laminated glass with a thickness of 4 cm. The bearing capacity is extremely strong. The suspension bridge design can resist the 12-level wind and the 6-magnitude earthquake. The vertical difference between the bridge deck and the ground is about 218 meters, which is equivalent to the height of 66 floors. The maximum bearing capacity of the bridge design can accommodate up to 2,000 people at the same time.

Project 2: Shijiazhuang International Convention and Exhibition Center is a key project of Hebei Province and Shijiazhuang City. It is located at the core of Zhengding New District and is a large-scale comprehensive venue integrating exhibitions, conferences and activities. The building area is 359,200 square meters, which is equivalent to the area of 90 standard football fields. The seven standard exhibition halls of the Shijiazhuang International Convention and Exhibition Center all adopt the rare bidirectional suspension structure in the world. The large span roof of the exhibition hall has a maximum span of 105 meters for the main load-bearing structure and a maximum span of 108 meters for the secondary load-bearing structure, which is three times the span of the suspension structure of the Hanover Convention and Exhibition Center.
